Paula is a wife, mother of three, and Vice-President of Danny’s Improvements.  Paula is also the Administrative Assistant at North & South Esk Elementary School and has been an employee of School District 16 for 12 years.  She is also the owner of MPM – Making Projects Materialize.

A tried and true daughter of the Miramichi, Paula was born and raised right here in the place she has always called home. As a mother and wife, Paula sees both her opportunity and responsibility to help those within her household reach their dreams. Part of this was fulfilled in the starting of Danny’s Improvements, a local roofing company.  Touted as one of the most respected roofers in Miramichi has allowed Paula and her husband Danny to take a seat of integrity and accomplishment within the ranks of the highly respected of our community.

In the past few years, Paula has volunteered for the following organizations in the capacities listed:

• Co-founder of “The ROOF Project” – A non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference with families in need.  The ROOF Project has a vision to give a new roof to one Miramichi family each year, believing that one person can make a difference

• Third Day Generation – Coordinator – a ministry based out of San Antonio, Texas.  Through donations of time and finances, Paula has personally set up and been involved in enrichment conferences and opportunities for teens and most of all, the workers who care for them around the world, including Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, England, Scotland, Dubai, Uganda, Mexico and almost every state in the USA

• North & South Esk Elementary Home & School – Secretary

• Sunny Corner Girl Guides – Unit Administrator – Responsible for reviving this program in the  community in 2011

• WOMEN – Secretary-Treasurer for the Board of Directors – 2 years

• MYPIE – Secretary for the Board of Directors

• NSER Alumni – Vice-President for the Board of Directors

Paula has a natural ability for organization, administration and problem resolution.  She is a driven person, always knowing what she wanted and pursuing it until she reached her goal. This personal determination and drive is one of the main reasons she accomplishes things.  Through both personal tragedies and private successes Paula has continually kept her eyes on the goals of life that she feels are specifically purposed her for.
