Ryan Flynn

Ryan is a teacher at Harkins Elementary School and a coach for minor baseball and various sports teams at his school.  Ryan was born and raised in Miramichi and is the son of Reggie Flynn and Pat Hegan.

In the past few years, Ryan has volunteered with the following organizations in the capacities listed:

• Miramichi Minor Baseball Association – Coach for the past 3 summers

• Miramichi Irish Festival – Held a board position for one year and has always been a dedicated volunteer with the festival

• Harkins Elementary School – Coach for basketball, track and field, soccer and volleyball

Ryan has a passion for baseball and he coaches the minor team so that others can enjoy baseball as much as he does. This includes going away many weekends for away games and spending endless hours on the field.  Ryan has been the physical education teacher at Harkins Elementary School for the past few years and ever since, has always volunteered himself to coach the basketball, soccer and volleyball teams, as well as track and field.

Ryan gives his students the opportunity to learn, play, and most importantly have fun with sports.
